Webinar 19 April: Sustainable manure and nutrient management
The EU’s Farm-to-Fork Strategy aims reduce nutrient losses by 50%, and the use of fertilisers by 20% by 2030. What should be done on farms to ensure sustainable nutrient management? And what kind of policies could help us get there?
The Interreg platform project SuMaNu has gathered and synthesised 10 years of research and development from seven international projects and produced policy recommendations to provide a fuller picture of what sustainable nutrient management requires on different levels. During the webinar, SuMaNu will present its findings and explore the steps forward to reach the targets of the Farm-to-Fork Strategy.
Additional highlights: a regionwide snapshot of the current situation and an EU Commission presentation of the Farm Sustainability Tool for Nutrients.
